The purpose of the Capital Area United Way, as described in its bylaws, is to provide local employers, employees and other donors a cost-effective system to address community health and human service needs through charitable gifts of time, money and goods.
Uniting people and resources to solve defined problems and improve the quality of life for individuals and families in our communities.
Be a catalyst for change that mobilizes a caring community to improve people's lives.
Capital Area United Way supports tri-county programs and services that address complex health and human service problems. We believe that everyone in the tri-county area deserves opportunities to have a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.
