The purpose of the Capital Area United Way, as described in its bylaws, is to provide local employers, employees and other donors a cost-effective system to address community health and human service needs through charitable gifts of time money and goods.

Our Work

Capital Area United Way supports tri-county programs and services that address complex health and human service problems. We believe that everyone in the tri-county area deserves opportunities to have a good life:  a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health and access to essential basic services.
